China Mobile Launched The Centralized Procurement of High-end Routers and High-end Switches

  On April 15, China Mobile Procurement and Bidding website released China Mobile 2024 high-end router and high-end switch products centralized procurement announcement, bidding number: CMCC20240500087. The tender is China Mobile Communications Co., LTD., and the bidding agency is China Posts and Telecommunications Equipment Group Co., LTD.

  The centralized procurement products are high-end routers, BRAS equipment and high-end switches. It is estimated that China Mobile will purchase 2,922 high-end routers, 100 BRAS equipment and 3,344 high-end switches, and the actual purchase quantity is subject to the procurement contract. The total estimated purchase amount is 1.314 billion yuan. Note: This purchase is expected to meet China Mobile's needs until the end of 2024.

  This project is divided into nine packages, specific packages are divided as follows:

  - Package 1: High-end router level 3--32 units;
        - Package 2: High-end router level 4 (common scenario)--680 units;
        - Package 3: High-end router level 4 (specific scenario)-- 680 units;
        - Package 4: High-end routers level 5 (common scenario)--765 units;
        - Package 5: High-end routers level 5 (specific scenarios)--765 units;
        - Package 6: BRAS(Common Scenario)--50 units;
        - Package 7: BRAS(specific scenario)--50 units;
        - Package 8: High-end switch (common scenario)--1672 units;
        - Package 9: High-end switch (specific scenario)--1672 units.

  The number of winning suppliers in Package 2 is 3 to 4, and the number of winning suppliers in other packages is 2 to 3. If the number of suppliers that pass the test is less than the number of suppliers suggested above, all suppliers that pass the test will win the bid.

  - If 4 suppliers win the bid, the winning share is: 40%, 23%, 20%, 17%.
  - If 3 suppliers win the bid, the winning share is: 50%, 27%, 23%.
        - If 2 suppliers win the bid, the winning share is 70% and 30% respectively.
        - If 1 supplier wins the bid, the winning share is: 100%.

  In this project, the maximum number of bid packages that bidders are allowed to win at the same time is 9.
